When the finest local Somerset and Dorset ingredients are given an Eastern twist by as wonderful a chef as Khrish Preston from The Alternative Indian, amazing things can happen!
Khrish’s dishes are Indian cuisine like none other to be found in the West Country. Her passion for her food, its local organic origins and flavour combinations, is apparent in everything she does and this third evening of Grape & Graze will be a taste explosion for those attending.
Jamie ‘The Wine Guy’ has found it difficult to contain his enthusiasm for Khrish’s menu, so expect a similar riot of flavour in your glasses! Your vinous journey will take in a Tasmanian Sparkling Riesling, an Alsatian organic Pinot Gris, a German Pinot Noir, a Chilean red that thinks it’s a rosé and even a South African cider. This last entry isn’t strictly a wine but it was fermented using Champagne yeasts and might just be the best match for pork belly you’ve ever experienced!
