We think our woodland bower might just be one of the most magical places in the entire southwest. Cross the stream on a living bridge to our Victorian arbour. When the village church was rebuilt in 1874 this porch was saved by the then owner of the Manor. After 150 years, it is once again witnessing the joining of hands and hearts at Marshwood Manor weddings.
But this space isn't just for weddings. It makes a wonderful meditation spot, outdoor theatre, recital or teaching space.
Walk through ancient woodland to a mystical amphitheatre with family and friends seated on great benches created from the trees themselves. The benches can seat up to 80 people but, should you require more seating, the possibilities are endless. The bower can be used in the day or evening and transformed by florals, flags, lanterns and lighting to suit your vibe. It's a wonderful space to add live music too, and has hosted every type of musician from pan pipes to a string quartet.
